Frequently asked questions
How do you calculate a due date?
A due date is estimated as 40 weeks (280 days) from the first day of your last menstrual period — known as Naegele’s rule. If you know your conception or ovulation date, it is 266 days from then. Mama Bloom also supports IVF transfer dates for a more precise estimate.
Is Mama Bloom free and private?
Yes. Every calculator is completely free, with no account or sign-up. All calculations run in your browser and your dates never leave your device — nothing is uploaded or sold.
Does the pregnancy tracker work offline?
Yes. Mama Bloom is an installable Progressive Web App, so once added to your home screen it loads instantly and works without a connection.

Your healthcare provider’s assessment, especially from an early ultrasound, always takes priority. Always speak with your provider about your pregnancy.
