Know your due date but not your week? Pop it in below to see exactly how far along you are, your trimester, and how many days are left.
Remember: This is an estimate, not medical advice. Dates and figures are general guidance — every pregnancy is different. Your healthcare provider’s assessment, especially from an early ultrasound, always takes priority. Always speak with your provider about your pregnancy.
Pregnancy is dated as 280 days (40 weeks) from the first day of your last period. If you give us your due date we count backwards to that start point; if you give us your last period we count forwards. Your current week is the whole weeks that have passed since then.
Gestational age is counted from your last period, about two weeks before conception. So at conception you’re already considered “4 weeks pregnant” by convention — it can feel confusing, but it keeps everyone’s dating consistent.
If your due date came from an early ultrasound, it’s usually the most accurate, so start from that. Dating from your last period assumes a regular 28-day cycle and textbook ovulation.
